Lamborghini Aventador V12 Engine Laser Scan

For a project with Fiammenghi Italia, we conducted laser scanning on a Lamborghini Aventador to capture various parts for product innovation and engineering. We scanned the V12 engine, the transmission, the engine bay, the muffler, and the catalytic converters. Using our industrial-grade blue laser scanner, we collected data on the engine and transmission assembly from multiple angles, achieving high levels of detail and resolution. Despite the intricate geometry of the components, our scanner operates without the need for target stickers, facilitating efficient data acquisition and tracking. Furthermore, our blue laser can effectively read all types of surface finishes, including dark blacks and reflective colours. Industrial-grade scanning (ISO 17025 Accredited, 25 micron accuracy) is the best option to guarantee high-quality, consistent, and dependable data for developing premium enhancements for luxury supercars.
